Cebu City barangay placed on lockdown due to COVID-19 cases

Labella said Barangay Labangon had the most number of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases in the area with nine patients.

“Nagdeclare ng lockdown ang baranagay Labangon that is being authorized sa Office of the President,  provided ang barangay will comply with the protocols of the Department of Health,” Labella said.

The mayor also said he was considering a month-long extension of the measure from April 28, which was the original expiration of the ECQ in the city.

“We might extend from the 28th (of April). Maybe two more weeks, maybe May 15.   • Barangay Labangon – 9
